As everyone has heard, our grandpa passed away last Monday, August 13. This has been extremely difficult to accept. He was there for everything for his gradkids. It's been hard going over to my grandparents' house knowing he's never going to go back there again. I'm dreading the holidays and any family dinner coming up in the near future.
But I'm not going to be a Debby Downer. Here are some of my favorite pictures from my time with him:

We went to the Black Hills National Cemetary for Grandpa's burial. There was a 21 gun salute and they presented my grandma with the flag that was draped over his casket and the shells from the salute. It was heart wrenching but such an amazing way to celebrate his life.
