My New Play Area

Brandon's Auntie Amy bought him a new play area for Christmas. It's pretty high tech. It has mirrors, plays music, has blinking lights in time with the music, has sides that fold up to prevent him from rolling out and it has multiple arches with plastic rings that hang down for him to play with. Oh, and he enjoys sleeping in it too :) He loves it!! He loves to just lay in there and just talk. He also likes to stare at all of the animal prints on it and talk to them too!

Really concentrating...

Brandon's Baptism December31, 2011

On December 31, 2011, Brandon was baptized at the Cathedral in Rapid City. It was a beautiful night time ceremony presented by Father Michel Mulloy with all of Brandon's family and friends. We chose Mitch's Aunt and Uncle Pete and Lisa Ridl to be his Godparents. Here are some pictures from the event:

He didn't even cry! Proud parents :)

I love my little man :)

After the baptism, we had a small reception in the basement of the church where we had sloppy joe's. Brandon got so many nice gifts from everyone who came :) Mitch and I are so happy to have our son as part of the Catholic Church!

Could This Baby Really Be Any Cuter?

I dare you to find a cuter baby :)

Brandon's First Christmas

Brandon's first Christmas was very busy! We spent Christmas Eve with my family at my grandparent's house, having a ham and turkey dinner, opening Christmas gifts and going to Christmas Mass that night. He also got to meet his Aunt and Uncle from AZ for the first time! B's first Christmas Eve was full of fun and lots of love and gifts :)

Christmas Eve morning in his new Christmas PJ's!

No more pictures!!

Chillin' with grandma.

Loving his new toy :)

Grandpa enjoyed opening his gifts.

Meeting Uncle Kyle and Aunt Madison for the first time!

Ready for church!

Christmas Day, we went over to Grandma Williamson's house to see what Santa brought for Brandon. He got lots of cool new toys and books! He liked checking out his new loot :)

Hanging out with his dad :)

After we went to see all the goodies Santa brought to Grandma's, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Linster's new house to spend Christmas Day.

Cool new Puma onsies!

Pretzel Sticks!

Uncle Kyle has the magic touch.

After we opened gifts as a family, Butch and Sandy had some friends over, along with Madison's mom. We had lasgana for dinner and played games.

Brandon's first Christmas was busy with new traditions, seeing family and meeting new people. He was spoiled with all of his Christmas gifts! Mom has to find new places for everything to go :)

Thank you everyone who helped make Brandon's first Christmas so special. We love you all!

Another First for B-Man

In our house, I always have the job of going outside to get the mail. Our mailbox is one of those shared big metal boxes where everyone has their own tiny box. I have to walk about 3 or 4 houses down to the mail box, so in the winter, I have to bundle up.

I decided to take Brandon with me to the mail box the other day and it was pretty cold outside. I wanted to take a picture of the moment for a couple of reasons. It was his first time to the mailbox, it waas his first time outside not in his car seat carrier and he just looked so cute all bundled up to go outside! Here is the happy, memorable moment I captured:

Doesn't he just look slap you in the face, kick you in the crotch happy?

Needless to say, once we went outside he stopped crying and just looked around at everything. It turned out to be not so traumatic :)

Preparing for Brandon's First Christmas!

As everyone always says this time of year, "I can't believe it's Christmas time already!" Well it's true. Time has flown by in the past 9 weeks since Brandon has been born. There has been so many fun thing going on and now we get to anticipate B's first Christmas!! I know he won't remember it but I still want to make it as special as I can so he can look back on it.

He has so many cute Christmas outfits to wear! This is seriously just the tip of the iceburg here. He has Christmas jammies, Chritsmas outfits with Santa on the butt, and shirts with raindeer on them. He of course looks damn cute in all of them :)

We got him a stocking (the snowman one) that hangs downstairs. Santa doesn't know what to bring a newborn at our house so maybe next year something will be left in the stocking :) As you can see, the fur child Oakley has a stocking too!

I even made the HORRID trip down the the crawl space to get out the Christmas tree for Brandon's first Christmas. I hate going to down there more than anything. I would rather buy a new Christmas tree every year than go down there to get it. Seeing the smile on his face when he looks at it makes the trip down there MORE than worth it!

I am excited for him to understand Christmas some day but this is just as exciting for Mitch and I. We can't wait for more memories of the Christmases to come.

We love you Brandon! Merry Christmas baby boy.

Two Whole Months!

Two months ago tonight we finally got to meet our little "Bean". Time has flown by so fast!! We finally are all getting used to each other and sleep is getting better (knock on wood!). Two months ago, we were up every two hours or so feeding him. Now, on a "normal" night, he wakes up only once to eat. It's funny how soon you realize how little sleep you can actually live off of! A year ago I would die if I slept from midnight to 6 am. Now, that is heaven! Our little Brandon is the light of our lives. We love him more than we could have even imagine. He is the best little boy in the entire world! Seriously. Just ask anyone :)

We really do have the cutest baby ever....!
